Learn French differently: Authentic, personal, and designed for real life
Example of a full day immersion in French
A tailor-made immersion created just for you
With Immersion with Kathleen, there is no standard program: each half‑day is tailored to your interests, your pace, and your goals. Whether you’re passionate about cooking, enjoy board games, or love shopping, learning French becomes a lively, fun and authentic experience.
During our initial WhatsApp conversation, we’ll discuss your interests.
Here is a sample agenda to illustrate what your personalised immersion might look like — always adapted to your preferences, your level, and your energy on the day.
9h00 : Welcome drink
A gentle way to ease into the language…

9:30: Local market stroll
Visit a local market to discover regional products (fruits, vegetables, cheeses, specialties, etc.).
Objectives: Learn market and product vocabulary, practice comparisons and expressing preferences, use concrete everyday language.
11h30: Lunch & Learn workshop
You choose a typical French recipe; we prepare it together and share the meal. A delicious and spontaneous moment to practice French in the kitchen.
Objectives: Encourage spontaneity and linguistic ease, describe personal tastes, read a recipe in French and follow oral instructions, understand French eating habits, and expand culinary and gastronomic vocabulary.

13h00: Break and free time
A moment to rest, digest… or simply enjoy the calm before the afternoon.

13h30 : Karaoké Workshop (option 1)
We choose a French song, listen to it actively, sing together or solo, then analyse the lyrics and discuss their meaning.
Objectives: Improve pronunciation and intonation through musical rhythm, develop listening comprehension at natural speed, express emotions and opinions, and engage in discussions about French‑speaking musical culture.
13h30 : Beach & Painting Workshop (option 2)
Beach walk, pebble collecting, then creating painted stories on pebbles. An artistic and narrative activity to practice French in a different way.
Objectives: describe an object in detail, express preferences and artistic choices, tell a short story with a beginning, middle, and end.
